 दशपर्णी अर्क

 इयत्ता आठवीच्या विद्यार्थ्यांनी सेंद्रिय कीटकनाशक म्हणजेच दशपर्णी अर्क तयार केला पिकावर येणाऱ्या वेगवेगळ्या रोग  किडींसाठी उपाय म्हणून दशपर्णी अर्क तयार केला

 दशपर्णी अर्क तयार करण्यासाठी 250 ग्रॅम कडुलिंब पाला , 100 ग्रॅम निरगुडी पाला , 100 ग्रॅम घाणेरीपाला , 100 ग्रॅम गुळवेल पाला , 100 ग्रॅम एरंडपाला , 100 ग्रॅम सीताफळ पाला , 100 ग्रॅम पपई पाला , 100 ग्रॅम रुई पाला , 100 ग्रॅम करंज पाला , 100 ग्रॅम कन्हेर पाला , 100 ग्रॅम गाईचे शेण , 250 ग्रॅम गोमूत्र  हे साहित्य घेऊन वीस लिटरच्या बॅरल मध्ये दहा लिटर पाणी घेऊन त्यामध्ये टाकले व बांबूच्या काठीने दररोज दोन ते तीन वेळा डावीकडून उजवीकडे एक महिना ढवळले .30 दिवसानंतर हे द्रावण पूर्णता आंबल्यावर गाळून घ्यावे.

अडीच लिटर दशपर्णी अर्क 200 लिटर पाण्यात मिक्स करून प्रति एकर क्षेत्रावर फवारावे

पिकावर येणाऱ्या रोग व  किड नियंत्रणासाठी दशपर्णी अर्क हा रामबाण उपाय आहे.

 लोखंडी फ्रेमला वेल्डिंग करताना विद्यार्थी

वेगवेगळ्या प्रकारचे वायरिंग व त्यांच्या सर्किट शिकणे त्याचप्रमाणे हाउस वायरिंग शिकणे व त्यातील फॉल्ट काढणे

       ज्ञानदा विद्या मंदिर नारायणगाव येथे,इयत्ता नववीच्या विद्यार्थ्यांनी मेथी बियाण्यास Metalaxyl chi बीजप्रक्रिया केली.

      बीज प्रक्रिया म्हणजे बियाणे जमिनीत पेरण्यापूर्वी जमिनीतून किंवा बियाण्यांतून पसरणारे विविध रोग व किडींचा प्रादुर्भाव टाळण्यासाठी तसेच बियांची उगवण क्षमता वाढवण्यासाठी आणि जोमदार रोप येण्यासाठी बियाण्यांवर वेळोवेळी जैविक व रासायनिक कीटकनाशकांची व संवर्धकांची प्रक्रिया केली जाते.याला बीज प्रक्रिया म्हणतात.

  बीज प्रक्रियेचे फायदे-  

1)बीज प्रक्रियेमुळे बियांची उगवण क्षमता वाढवता येते. 

2)उत्पादनात वाढ होते.

3) रोपे मारण्याचे प्रमाण कमी होते.

4) पिकांची रोगप्रतिकारक शक्ती वाढते .

5)रोपे निरोगी व जोमदार वाढतात .

6)बीज प्रक्रियेमुळे जमिनीतून व बियांपासून पसरणाऱ्या रोगांचा प्रादुर्भाव टाळता येतो.

 विद्यार्थ्यांना विभागाची ओळख करून साहित्य साधने त्यांचा वापर व सुरक्षिततेचे नियम शिकवले

     ज्ञानदा विद्या मंदिर नारायणगाव येथे ,आय बी टी विभागाअंतर्गत चालवल्या जाणाऱ्या शेती व पशुपालन विभागातील साहित्य साधनांची विद्यार्थ्यांना ओळख करून दिली. त्या साहित्य साधनांचा उपयोग काय होतो ते साहित्य हाताळताना काय काळजी घ्यायची याची माहिती विद्यार्थ्यांना दिली.

Students made a ‘A’ frame to mark a contour line

 In Energy and environment section along with electrical introduction students also introduces to the environment activities. Under the theme of water conservation there is an activity to draw a contour line using A frame.
In this activity students introduced to the use of A frame method and process to make a ‘A’ frame from wooden plank. In this process students made a ‘A’ Frame of 1 meter size and tried to use the same. The 10th std. students participated in this activity.

Students repaired 15 benches using engineering tools

Since this was a start of education year school had a requirement of various repairing works specially related to the benches. The IBT students made a survey of all the benches in the schools and they found that 15 benches need a repairing.
The 9th and 10th std students had introduced the process of using various engineering tools so they took initiative in this repairing work.
In this activity students repaired total 15 benches. In this they fixed plank for some benches using drilling and screw fitting and used welding machine, cutter,
grinder, files, measuring and marking tools, etc. For this service they received Rs. 750 as a labor charges.

: Narayangaon school participated in Video Conferencing lecture.

Lecture through video conferencing is a use of advanced technology is started from last year in the IBT schools. This conference is facilitated by Vigyan Ashram on every Saturday at 9:30 to 10:00 am.

One expert form Vigyan Ashram provided lecture using video conferring tool. In which various experts give lectures on important topics using videos, PPT and some demo This is a interactive lectures in which student get a change to talk to and get their queries resolved form the experts. Scheduled of lecture for this month was –

1.Nersary technology - Mr. Ranjit sir

2.Feed for animals (Murghaas) - Mr. Ranjit sir

3.Feed for animals (Hydrophonics & Azola)  - Mr. Ranjit sir

We are recveing good support from ICT lab and its instructor for this work

Students did soak pit in the community.

16th Sept. - 2nd Oct celebrated a Swachh Bharat Campaign all over India. Our IBT programs has also contributed to this through schools.
In this period IBT students installed 4 soak pits of size 1m width X 1 m length X 1 m depth. In this soak pit students used a scrap drum and stones and bricks to fill the pit. All drainage water will be soaked into this soak pit and problem of mosquitos and other due to the open area drainage water will be solved

IBT students prepared ‘Rakhi’ for Rakshabandhan. Served it and earned Rs.1650.

In home and health department student introduces to make various decorative ‘Rakhi’ which can be served to the community. In Aug month IBT students prepared Rakhi. They purchase raw material from the market and as per their idea they prepared Rakhis by using various small decorative items. Total 168 Rakhis prepared and all were sold to the community. Prices of Rakhi were Rs. 5, 10, 15, 20 as per the quality. They earned about Rs. 1650 as a community service by selling Rakhis.

Served 250 kg. packaged vermicompost to the community and earned Rs.1750 as a community service.

In agriculture & animal husbandry department student introduces to make vermicompost in vermicompost bed.
In last year students were filled the vermicompost bed with waste leaves, waste food, cow dung and other decomposing material in the vermicompost bed along with earthworm. In July month all wastes were decomposed and vermicompost becomes ready for selling.
Total 250 Kg. vermicompost were prepared in this bed. The students had packed it in a polythene bag of 1 kg. & 5 kg. & also sold to the community at the rate of Rs. 7 per kg. Total 250 kg vermicompost were sold & received Rs. 1750 as a community service.
This packaged vermicompost they also sold in the exhibition by putting a stall at Vigyan Ashram Pabal on 30th July.
